Overview:

In this module we will develop an understanding about the nutritive needs for different phases of life, the healing power of nutrition, and the daily nutrition needs for glowing health in a toxic world. We also learn to cook for the specific needs of ourselves and our loved ones. The table is an altar where we make an offering to the Lord out of our resources, labor, creativity. Nourishing ourselves and others is a form of love. The table is a place to gather and be nourished in body, mind, and spirit. And, as an ancient proverb states, “If diet is wrong, medicine is of no use. If diet is right, medicine is of no need.” Understanding this foundation for health is foundational for moving forward with vibrant health.

But there is no guilt, no shame, and no pressure. This is simply a weekend to encounter the love of God and to be in awe of what He has created to nourish and repair us. This is a weekend to learn how to cultivate, gather, and prepare delicious, nutrient-dense, healing food.

Learn to make food protocols for those who are sick and wounded among you.

Experience the love and joy of a safe space, learning among like-minded friends.

Let food be thy medicine and medicine be thy food. -Hippocrates

“For he satisfieth the longing soul, and filleth the hungry soul with goodness.”

-Psalm 107:9
